Joyful Life Ministries began as a Bible Study group with three people meeting in a coffee house in Richmond. During those first months, our gathering grew and we held our first church service on Easter Sunday, April 2006.
Since that time, our church family has grown into a body of believers who have come together to walk more closely with God, encourage and minister to one another, and make an Apostolic impact in the city of Richmond, and Madison County.
From a coffee house downtown, a storefront on Big Hill Avenue, and in our current location on West Main Street, we have seen God move in our midst. People have been healed and helped, believers have been baptized and filled with God's Spirit, and God has blessed the work we're doing for His kingdom.
At the same time, we're dedicated to remembering the close-knit group that formed the foundation of our church. We continue to honor that foundation in our church family and with our LifeGroup ministry. So, no matter where you are in your journey with God, even if you haven't started on it yet, you will find a place in the family at Joyful Life Ministries.
